As a missions organization, we are devoted to reaching people in difficult to reach places. Answering The Call is involved in several regions around the world.
Africa: Answering The Call has focused primarily in two regions of Africa that have seen a fair share of wars, yielding the fruit of poverty, violence, and confusion. We have come alongside an indigenous movement in South Sudan. There has been extensive medical ministry and the establishment of a primary health care clinic, oprhange and school. In addition, pastors in the area have been trained and involved with ATC in the evangelism of groups further to the north that are Islamic in ther orientation. Answering the Call also ministers in East Congo. The ministry focuses around local leadership who serve women and children in a variety of ways, including feeding centers, a women's shelter and well drilling.
Asia: In the incredible and wonderful complexity of Asia, the good news of the kingdom is exploding. In countries where evangelical christianity is illegal, persecution has only fueled the fire of church growth and evangelism. Answering the Call has been involved primarily by coming alongside these underground movements with teaching and encouragement. We are epsecially prayerful for more opportunities in this area of our ministry in Asia.
Central America: With Refugio Solte as a base of operation, Answering The Call is strategically located to reach unreached parts of Central America. Mission efforts, such as dental clinics and Back Yard Bible Clubs, are among several outreachs we have attempted in the local community of Uvita, Costa Rica. Beyond this local community, teams have worked in various ways on a populated island off the coast of Costa Rica. There have also been mission efforts launched into nearby Panama. Refugio Solte also hosts various indigenous mission organizations and pastors for further training and encouragement.
India: India now approaches China as the world's most populated country boasting 1.2 billion people. Only a small part of this population claims relationship with Jesus. Answering The Call has outlined strategies in the polytheistic south and in the radical Islamic north. ATC has come alongside the persecuted church in Orissa helping to establish an orphange for children whose parents were killed by extremists.
Middle East: There is evidence that the next major move of God in redeeming people to Himself will be among the Islamic peoples of the Middle East. Perhaps history has never recorded a time when openness to the good news of Jesus is so evident. The work of ATC revolves around a prayer movement called Project Jericho and working alongside pastors in the region.
